We recently took these pictures of Orchard Lodge for an enquiring guest. They do something to show the size, situation and beauty of the lodge, but it is hard to capture the warmth of light as shines through the many windows and reflects off the bare wooden beams and smooth wooden floor.Being one of our grandest dwellings it can only be described as a definite treat to stay in. Solid, generous, modern, yet complementary to the nature around, it fits into the edge of our orchard overlooking the valley below with prime position for our magical woodland walk.
