Search for “Flear Farm Cottages” or our postcode in your chosen navigation app. Or program our postcode, TQ9 7RF, in to your car’s navigation system. Be wary that this postcode will take you to Flear barn. Keep driving 100 yards down the road and you'll find us.

Navigation

You can use Satnav, TQ9 7RF will take you to Flear Barn, drive up another 100 yards and you'll find us. Be warned! SatNav’s will often take you down long stretches of country lanes thinking it is saving you time - it isn't, and if you're not used to driving in country lanes you may find this a stressful way of getting to us.

Alternatively, just search for Flear Farm Cottages on Google Maps and you'll find us.

Directions

From Exeter follow the A38 towards Plymouth (Not Torbay). At the Dart Bridge exit turn off onto the A384 (signposted Buckfastleigh, Totnes, Kingsbridge). Follow the Totnes signs. At the traffic lights as you enter Totnes, turn right on the A381 (signposted Kingsbridge).

Go through Harbertonford and Halwell, on up the hill passing Totnes Cross BP petrol station on your left.
Travel exactly 1 mile further until you see a turning on the left in the direction of East Allington and Slapton, slow down and take this turning.
Continue down this lane and take the second right signposted for East Allington.
Continue down this lane, up the hill and you will get to a staggered crossroads. Turn right for East Allington.
Once you reach East Allington continue on this road driving through the village, the road will take you up the hill towards the church at the top of the village.
Just past the church (and the school) the road forks. Take the right hand fork. This is our lane.
Continue down our lane for just over a mile and as the lane bends to the left our entrance is straight ahead.
There are two entrances side by side. Take the right hand entrance into Flear.

If you are unsure of where your cottage is have a look at the map on the honesty shop porch.

Thank you for having us, we all had a fab time, especially my son who is now a trampoline addict.

It really was as wonderful as we remembered it and we look forward to coming back many times in the future and I’m sure our children will grow up to have magical memories of adventures at Flear Farm as we do.

Wonderful Stay

Hi all,

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

The cottage was impeccable, a perfect balance between a home and a holiday and the facilities on site were again at such a high standard for everyone to enjoy. It is clear how well thought out and cared for Flear Farm is and we all had a wonderful time and we’re not ready to leave.

We will hopefully be back and have already begun recommending to friends.

Wonderful

Dear Barney and Camilla,
Thank you so much for making our family Christmas weekend in Flear House so wonderful. The house is beautiful and with all the Christmas decorations and the stunning Christmas trees which you kindly provided, it was very special indeed. This was our second visit to Flear Farm and I'm sure it'll not be our last.
As always, the play barn, swimming pool, tennis courts, woodland walks etc were thoroughly enjoyed by all. Merry Christmas to you and the boys.

We all had the most wonderful week

We all had the most wonderful week, and for a three generation family that is certainly an achievement. I truly think you have thought of everything and we all really appreciated the high quality of everything in the house, from kitchen appliances to bathrooms and to beautiful beds and bedding. Everything in the house, combined with the fantastic facilities around the site, made for a truly wonderful and relaxing week. The grandchildren had a brilliant time with the play barn, the indoor pool and meeting the animals. The lovely weather was also a bonus and we were able to make full use of the pool and barbeque.

Thank you once again and I hope we will return in the future.

The Best We Have Stayed At

Dear All at Flear Farm

Many thanks. We had a great time. We have stopped as a family at a number of similar family holiday cottage complexes in Dorset and North and South Devon. Flear was voted by everyone as the best we have stayed at. Only problem we have is that our grandchildren loved Betty and their parents are under great pressure to have a cat!

May I say what an idyllic holiday venue you have. It is ideal for the smaller children and all 4 of our grandchildren aged from 2 to 8 loved it especially the play barn. Flear House was perfect for us and really suited the family. The peace and quiet was lovely and very safe for all the children.
