The lower paddock and playground provide a wealth of space that is light and sheltered. With swings and slides and a large climbing frame as well as an inground trampoline and some open grass space with a football goal, it is perfect for some outdoor fun.
We know that England can sometimes bring with it some wet weather, that’s why the fun doesn’t stop when the rain comes. We’ve also got a Playbarn which provides hours of enjoyment year-round.
Ready to get your inner Murray on? Not only is our tennis court lots of fun for a knock about with the family, it’s also an ITF regulation sized court perfect for you serious tennis players to hone your game on.
Balls and racquets (including 2 child sized) are available for your use free from the the office.

We have a barbecue and picnic terrace that provides an enclosed and scenic venue for families to enjoy an alfresco party.
The terrace overlooks the hot tub and rolling hills beyond Flear. There are beautiful hanging baskets of flowers all around and large herb pots for guests' use.
The area benefits from outdoor lighting and a fantastic open chimney for barbecuing. The Picnic benches make a lovely space for all the family to enjoy a meal or for the grown ups to enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the children play out on the lawn opposite.
Flear Wood is home to an ocean of Bluebells in Spring. The stream meanders down the valley and soon finds the Upper Pond where you are welcome to fish for roach and other small fish. As the water flows from the pond it continues down the valley and passes by the Pony Paddock home of Abby and Willow the Dartmoor Ponies.
Rising above them is the steep field of the Orchard, host to a hundred or more apple trees that kindly bestow upon us the gift of fruit each autumn. We honour that gift by turning it in to our delicious Flear Farms Organic Cider for our guests to enjoy.
Our 3 hole Pitch & Putt green can be found beyond the Alpaca Paddock, next to the Tennis Court, at the edge of Flear Farms grounds.
Golf balls and clubs for adults and children are available for free outside the office.
The valley is just one of the many beautiful natural wonders that await you at Flear Farm. Some of our favourite wild ways to experience Flear Farm include cooking around an open fire at the fire circle, swimming in the top pond or flowing waters of the river, star gazing at the top of the orchard on a clear night or walking the woodland path at dawn.
